So much to update on! (Weeks 9 & 10)

Ok, so I have really been slacking!! I have been so busy I haven't had a chance to really read and comment on my fellow sassies blogs!! I am so sorry!! I love you girlies!! And these last couple of weeks have been crazy, so here are weeks 9 & 10 of the weekly blog challenge!

Ok, so, from youngest to oldest, here we go.....

Nadia is growing up so fast! She still has just the 2 teeth and she loves being on the floor! She cries when shes in her walker cuz she wants to crawl!! And she gets into everything!!! She is now starting to try and pull herself up!!! AGGHHH!!!!! lol.... She loves playing with Angie and Gabe. They make her laugh so much and so hard! Its so cute!!! She is currently getting over a cold.

Angie is doing way better in school this period. She has improved so much. We had a conference with her teacher the other day and she said she has noticed a big improvement in her work. We've been working with her a lot.

Gabe is doing the same in school, which is GREAT!!! His only problem is his temper and frustration. lol... He gets easily frustrated with the other kids in his class. They goof off to much and his teacher said that he is more mature for his age. No word on his GAT test. She said it could take about a month. But, whether he passes or fails, she is still recommending him for the class. Oh, and he lost another tooth at school on Friday!!

Yesterday, Saturday, I took Gabe and Angie to Fort MacArthur Museum. We walked around their for a bit and I took pics. Then after we drove around and made our way to Ports O'Call Village. We walked around and ended up going on a 45 minute boat cruise. It was really neat. We got to see all the boats and ships and even some seals! One day soon, I will post those pics as well as the ones from Angie's Birthday Party!!!

Another Birthday! (Week 8)

Yup, today is Angie's 8th birthday!! My baby girl is growing up on me!! When I get a chance I will post some pictures of her birthday party. She had a lot of fun!

Nadia is crawling EVERYWHERE!!! Lol And she'd rather be on the floor then in her walker or bouncer. We are having to start baby proofing now!! Lol!!!

Gabe is doing great. He's almost as tall as me!!!

Tomorrow I start my first day as a Full Time Employee!! I have my new hours already too! 40 hours a week guaranteed! Yay!

That's pretty much it for now!

Couple of updates!

Second, I am now a FULL TIME EMPLOYEE at the hospital! Well, starting Monday! I have moved up from Per Diem to Full Time! I am so excited! My pay is staying the same, but I will now be able to get benefits! I don't know what my hours will be yet, but I will be guaranteed hours!!

Well, that's about it for now!

Time flys! (Week 7)

So much this week! Where to start!!!!

Lets see, last week...Thursday Nadia and I went shopping most of the day. Friday night my sis in law and I went out to Island's and had a couple of drinks.

Saturday Angie and I went shopping for things for her birthday party which is this weekend. We spent the afternoon making candy (I bought a mold and candy melts from JoAnn's Fabrics) and candy and goodie bags.

Saturday night I worked so when I got home at 8:30 am Sunday morning I went to bed! I didn't sleep much, but it was enough. We didn't do much Sunday.

Oh, Sunday I cut Angie's hair! Myself! And it doesnt look to bad if I say so myself!! She tried to cut it herself sometime before that! lol.. crazy girl!!

The angle makes it look crooked, but it isn't!


Gabe took his G&T test on the 4th. We don't know the results, but when I talked to his teacher about the test back in the fall she said that whether he passes or not, he's still going to be in the program next year!!

Nadia is getting close to crawling! She's all over the place now! She mostly goes backwards, but she's starting to get on her knees now!!

Well, I think thats it for now! lol.. If I think of anything else or if anything else happens, Ill update!!

Here we go again! (Week 6)

This last week has been pretty busy. The kids have been sick and keeping me busy. Friday David and I went to the VA. They did an xray on my knee and gave me a knee brace. I have to have an MRI on it and probably have to do physical therapy. I fluid in my knee and sometimes it hurts when I walk. Other than that, everything else is ok. My thyroid levels are normal so I dont have to take my synthroid medication, but I do have to have them rechecked in about 6 weeks.

Angie's birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks and the last 2 days she was busy making her invitations. We are just going to have a small get together at the house and BBQ like we did for Gabe.

Gabe will be taking a test this week, either the 4th or 6th, for the Gifted and Talented Program at school. He doesnt seem to worried about it, but I am so excited!!! My baby is so smart!!!

Nadia is trying to crawl. This morning she was pushing herself up and going forward a little. Soon enough she will be all over the place!!
