Almost the weekend!

I am so ready for it to be here! 1 more day of work (6hrs) and then play time! lol.. ok, well not so much of a weekend since I have to work on Sunday!!! Super Bowl Sunday of all days! Everyone will be going to David's grandparents house to watch the game and I will be at work. Oh well, thats life! lol

Lets see, work is going great! I'm trying to work as many hours as they will let me. lol... This week I was working the early shift. Man, its hard to have to get up and BE AT work by 7 am!!! Normally I'm getting up around 6 or 6:15 and leaving the house after 7! But, you gotta do what you gotta do to make it in this world.

Oh, Angie is Citizen of the Month AGAIN this month! She is doing really well in school and is a big help around the house. Gabe is doing really well in school as well. He should be testing soon to see if he will be in the Gifted and Talented (GAT) Program at school next year. That boy is too smart for his own pants!!! Nadia has 2 teeth coming in on the bottom! I should be taking her to her 6 month check up around the 8th. We will have to see how much she has grown!

David is doing well too. Still looking for a job, but with this economy, its so hard. But for now, he and I are both spending lots of time with the kids and each other.

Well, another year another birthday........Gabe is now 10!!!!!!!! As of today, the 25th, he is now in the double digits! We BBQed for his birthday yesterday since I had to work last night and slept most of today.

My New Years Resolutions

Originally I wasn't going to "have" any, but there are some things I would like to accomplish this year.

1. I would like to lose some weight. I am off to a great start so far! I am down 2.5lbs! You can track my challenge: http://nikkisweighlossgoal.blogspot.com/

2. Spend even more time with each of my 3 babies. Both individually and together. Angie and I have been going for afternoon walks. Nadia may or may not go. She likes getting out! I play with Nadia on the floor. I watch tv (mostly cartoons) with Gabe.

3. Spend more time with David. I am looking forward to celebrating 10 years of marriage in May!!

4. I would also like to work on my finances. I found a really great job I like that pays me well and has awesome hours! I have a few things I would like to get paid off this year.

Well, thats about it. Not too much and so far I am off to a great start!

Happy New Year!!!

Well, things have been going well here in Cali! The kids are doing great in school and I am loving my new job!

Gabe's teacher is recommending him for the Gifted and Talented (GAT) program for 5th grade and Angie was Citizen of the Month for December.

Nadia is getting so big! When she was born, she was 6lbs 4oz and 19 inches long. At her 4 month check up in December, she was weighing in at 14lbs even and was 25 inches long!

David and I are doing pretty good as well. We have been together, as of the 1st, for 11 years! We will be celebrating 10 years of marriage in May!
